Who Wants to Destroy the United States Via Immigration?

Unregulated immigration, amounting to an invasion, is a pressing issue in the United States and Europe. Why this flood of people? The citizens of these supposedly democratic countries did not vote for this. Opinion polls show that they do not want these immigrants and aliens. Yet such migration is accelerating and threatens to overwhelm Western nations. Why?

In this moon’s post, I will focus on the United States, though Western Europe suffers the same malady. Terminology regarding this issue is contentious, so let me define whom I am referring to. One such group is illegal aliens, people whose presence is not authorized by the national government. Another such group is legal aliens whose presence is still detrimental to the wellbeing of the citizens of the United States. I include both such groups in what I call undesirable immigrants.

United States citizens, as a whole, do not want this flood of undesirable immigrants. Yet here they are. They are here because various factions in the United States (and some outside the United States) want them here. Who are these factions and why are they encouraging this invasion? Let me speculate.

Two factions are obvious. The first of these two are businesses, both large and small. Businesses desire cheap labor, compliant labor, labor easily disposed of. The more potential workers seeking jobs (especially applicants having lower expectations), the lower the wages paid. This motivation is understandable, but has a corrosive side effect. These business owners are placing a higher priority on personal, short-term profits over the long-term good of their fellow citizens. This makes the United States an international economic zone, not a nation having a heritage.

The other obvious faction that encourages the flood of undesirable immigrants is the Democratic party or leftists in general. This faction sees undesirable immigrants as a voting block that provides them with reliable support in elections. This motivation is obvious when one considers leftist opposition to voter identification requirements.

This voting block is an analogy to the free state – slave state antagonism that plagued the country during its first century. The admission of each state to the union was bitterly contested, as its status as a free or slave state could alter the balance on power in Congress. Contemporary leftists hope to overwhelm the electoral system with states the populations of which are bloated with undesirable immigrants.

These two factions, businesses wanting cheap labor and leftists wanting votes, explain much of the laxity regarding undesirable immigration. But I speculate that there are other, more emotional factions too.

Some United States citizens simply want to overthrow the country’s government and/or private cultural norms. Undesirable immigrants are allies in that endeavor. It does not matter that their alien beliefs and practices are incompatible with each other, such as feminism and Islam. All that counts is the overthrow of society.

Some United States citizens want to increase the power of government over the lives of people. Undesirable immigrants, who seek out and obtain government handouts at a greater rate than citizens, are allies in this endeavor.

Some undesirable immigration is encouraged by recently arrived fellow ethnics. These ethnics choose, hire, and defend their fellow comrades to the detriment of the citizens of the United States. Southern and Eastern Asian immigrants are notorious for this practice.

Some factions consist of people whom I would refer to as psychologically unbalanced. I do not like to cite someone’s mental instability as a reason for behavior of which I disapprove. Yet I see no alternative when observing their actions.

Some citizens have been brainwashed by the public education system to hate their country and their heritage. Some citizens find fulfillment from being part of a so-called movement, no matter how benighted or destructive that movement is. Some people, not having families of their own, transmute their maternal frustrations into pathological altruism. All these people latch onto the cause of a borderless nation to compensate for these feelings.

Can the invasion be stopped? What is the end game? I do not know. It could end in economic collapse. The burden of supporting tens of millions of undesirable immigrants will break the national budget and those of the states. The nation could partition. The nation could, by vote, effectively adopt a communist economic model, with all the oppression that that entails.

In the end, it comes down to the will of United States citizens, at least before they are overwhelmed. Are they willing to put country before profit, personal freedom before governmental control, their heritage before Esau’s bowl of pottage?
